TATTOO ARTIST WANTED

House of Ink offers Permanent makeup by one of the top licensed artists in the state as well as piercing from a highly experienced piercer. We are now looking for an experienced tattoo artist. Minimum 5 years working in a shop (not out of your kitchen). We are NOT hiring or willing to accept any apprentices at this time. Must show proof of where you received your apprenticeship and what shops you have worked at. We will check your references. Artist will be hired as a contractor and Artist will be paid on a percentage basis and shop will provide all supplies except listed below.

Artist must provide the following: Rollaway, your own tattoo machines, power supply, clip cords, non-porous side table used while tattooing, your own chair and flash/framed art for your area.

Basic Requirements are:

- Drama free shop. Zero drama!!! We are all here to work and have fun.

- Two years tattoo experience. Artist with less than 5 years will be hired based on quality, and talent.

- Professional portfolio that displays your ability.

- Artist must be highly motivated!!!!

- Artists will be asked to perform a trial tattoo before hiring; providing your own human canvas.

- Reliable transportation and punctuality is a must.

- All certifications: Blood Borne Pathogens, Red Cross.

- NO drug/alcohol dependencies.

- Work References from previous tattoo businesses.

- Only serious inquires will be acknowledged.

-Artist must be able to handle almost all walk ins and still turn out quality work.

-Artist MUST be clean, AKA showered, teeth brushed, clean pants, clean shirt, and not stink like stale cigarettes. Basically, no one who wakes up trying to look like shit.
